AIOPA - Monthly Meeting
Atlanta Inter-Orthodox Parish Association Meeting 04/29/2025
Attendees: Fr. Christos Mars and Fr. Anthony Salzman

Fr. Christos welcomed everyone and thanked them for their time and efforts with AIOPA.
Fr. Christos reported that the update to the website is still progressing and wanted to thank Timothy Dachraoui from Sts. RNI who is helping to get the AIOPA website back in order so that it once again becomes a hub for all things Orthodox in the Atlanta area.
He also shared that the Pentecost Picnic will take place on Saturday, June 7 at 3pm at St. Philothea Greek Orthodox Church in Athens, GA. Attached you will find the flier. Special thank you to Fr. Anthony and Pres. Christine Salzman for putting it together.
Other Parish Events:
· The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation
o The Archdiocesan Philoptochos will host their Medical Luncheon the weekend of September 27-28, 2025. Click HERE for more info.
o The Atlanta Greek Festival will take place October 2-5.
· St. Philothea Greek Orthodox Church
o Pan-Orthodox Pentecost Vespers and Picnic will take place on June 7 at 3pm. (See flier for more information.
· Sts. Constantine and Helen Romanian Episcopate
o Spring Hram Festival will take place from May 17-18
· Sts. Raphael, Nicholas and Irene Greek Orthodox Church
o The Cumming Greek Festival will take place October 17-19.
· St. Christopher Greek Orthodox Church
o Annual Greek Festival will take place on Saturday, August 16.
o South Atlanta Annual Golf Classic will take place on Monday, October 27.
· St. Mary of Egypt ROCOR
o Will host a Young Adult Symposium from May 30 – June 1. (see attached flier)
· The Liturgical Arts Academy will be hosting their workshop from August 17-23. Please see the attached flier for more information and registration options or visit their website HERE.
· St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church is hosting and event on Thursday, May 1 to benefit OCF Atlanta. All are welcome to attend. More information can be found HERE
