AIOPA to present at AoB January 2023 meeting

AIOPA is invited to make a presentation for the Assembly of Bishops on January 30th 2023. The main purpose of the presentation is to share with our Hierarchs some of our successes and challenges experienced during AIOPA’s first 9 months of activity.

Two events that we’d like to highlight are the charity fundraiser for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the religious event CandleLight Service and Christmas Concert (we also plan to share representative stories from the other social, development and communications workgroups). On the Charity event we already have participation from 5 parishes and for Christmas we have 3 parishes’ choirs planning to participate (others might choose to only attend the service). We would like, of course, to get as many parishes possible participating in these two events - there’s no need to mention here how important Charity works and Christmas are in our lives as Christian Orthodox.
